What matters should be paid attention to when using SONIX MCU's ADC function in the software and hardware design?
1. Software note:
A certain of stable time is required in A/D convert, users need to consider this in software design. In order to ensure the stability of each AD conversion and make sure the data is correct, it is best to re-set AD channels, AD converter resolution, AD clock source selection bit before each AD convert, and make a reasonable disposal of obtained information corresponding to the applications. There needs a 100us delay when the first time enabled AD (B0BSET FADENB) which is to ensure the AD circuit reaches a steady state.
2.Hardware note:
The distance between signal source and A/D converter input port should be as close as possible, and user should connect an appropriate capacitor in parallel according to the chip input impedance. In addition, user also need to ensure the stability of AD converter reference voltage and analog ground and digital ground should be separated or isolated.
