How many methods can be used for PC power-saving? In which method can USB devices be wake up?
There are three ways for computers power saving, of which only S1 can be waked up
through the USB device, details is as shown below:
S1: you must first enter BIOS to set the power mode, enable S1 mode, then OS enter standby state, at this time the fan keep running, user can use USB Remote wakeup function to wake up;
S2: also called Deeper Sleep state, at this time, CPU will power off, but few computers support S2.
S3: first, set S3 mode by BIOS settings, after entered this mode, as the CPU does not run, so it can be judged whether enters S3 mode due to the fan running or not, and can not use USB Remote wakeup function.
