SN8P2711A EV-KIT is necessary during simulation, SN8P2711A and SN8P2711
have the common EV-KIT;
The resolution can only achieve 8-bit if
you choose internal reference 2V, 3V, 4V of SN8P2711A for AD use;
In
accordance with datasheet description of the EV-KIT connected with the simulator (see
as below); There are four jumpers next to the power switch, one of it is AVREFH/VDD,AVREFH
is ADC circuit reference high voltage. To short this jumper means connected AVREFH
and VDD, to open this jumper means connected it to external voltage. Only when customers
use the internal VDD as the ADC reference voltage should user short the jumper, and
the remaining cases (internal reference 2V, 3V, 4V and external reference source)
should open this jumper;
Measured AVREFH and VDD pin with the multimeter
on the bottom of the two dance-voltage, and toggle switch to the need to set the reference
voltage value. If you choose internal 3V, switch (S16) on the SN8P2711 EV-KIT be set
appropriately on the corresponding state ( S2, S5 to ON, S1, S3, S4, S6 to OFF when
select 3V), adjust the potentiometer, to adjust the AVREFH to 3V; otherwise the program's
reference and the actual simulation reference voltage used will be different and cause
AD collection value errors;
