Sonix Introduces NEW SN9000 solution combined with WeChat for IoT applications.
Sonix Technology (TSE:5471) announces the launch of a new series solution, SN9000,
for Internet of Things(IoT) applications. The SN9000 series chip is the first ARM
Cortex-M0 base solution that incorporates WiFi technology to support WeChat hardware
platform AirKiss. It is easy to develop smart control devices for IoT applications
by utilizing SN9000 series through connecting to WeChat apps. WeChat is the most popular
messaging communication software for mobile devices in China with tremendous coverage
rate. As of 2015, there are over 549 million users of WeChat. Millions of WeChat users
can enjoy the convenience and safety of a smart home by using WeChat apps to control
home appliances and surveillance devices equipped with SN9000 series chips.
Potential applications of SN9000 include, but are not limited to, improving the comfort and safety of the home. The SN9000 is equipped with 80MHz ARM Cortex-M0 processors and embedded with high capacity memory in addition to wireless internet network driver and network layer protocol that assists developers to integrate a wide range of cloud service applications. Further, the SN9000 series also supports a variety of transmission interfaces including: I2C, UART, SPI, SWD, I2S, PWM, ADC, SDIO, GPIO and other interfaces. For data encryption, SN9000 supports RSA, AES, https and SSL. The result, SN9000 series chip provides a complete turnkey solution and reference designs to users.
For product development, Sonix supports customers with complete development tools including Firmware SDK(software design Kit), Android APP SDK, iOS APP SDK and other tools.
