SN32 series has successfully passed UL/IEC 60730-1 Class B software certification.
The IEC 60730 standard, established by the International Electrotechnical Commission
(IEC), outlines safety testing and diagnostic methods for embedded control hardware
and software in household appliances to ensure safe operation, immediate detection,
and mitigation of abnormalities to prevent potential hazards. The standard covers
mechanical, electrical, electronic, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and abnormal
operation aspects, with three safety levels based on application risk:
Class
A: Control functions not related to equipment safety (e.g., temperature/humidity control,
lighting control).
Class B: Prevents unsafe states in controlled equipment (e.g.,
